Kathy Garrett, PhD

Kathy Garrett is an expert coach and seasoned consultant to hundreds of teams and leaders.  Known for her engaging style and deep expertise, Kathy is a gifted educator who has spent more than 25 years working with organizations to build positive, engaging leaders, teams, and cultures. She specializes in enhancing the capabilities of executives and leadership teams so they can manage change and guide their organizations in new directions.

Kathy brings significant educational accomplishments and corporate experience to her coaching with leaders and teams. She holds a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis & Change from Southern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Adult & Organizational Development from Temple University. At the beginning of her career, she spent 10 years as a healthcare psychologist, helping people to change mindsets, behaviors, and patterns in complex situations. She then spent 15 years in Organization and Leadership Development for GlaxoSmithKline, a global Fortune 500 company, before co-founding The Propel Consulting Group. As a passionate supporter of women’s leadership and development, Kathy offers retreats for women to restore inner balance and thrive in a 24-7 work world. Kathy is also an adjunct Professor at Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
